We've been part of Cape Verde's Carnival from the inside more than once. That's why our guests get access most people don't even know exists. You'll be welcomed into homes, neighborhoods, and traditions that make Carnival what it is, from rehearsals and costume fittings to everything else that brings it to life. You'll experience all of it across three gorgeous islands that couldn't feel more different from each other.
Along the way, you'll notice the littlle things we care about: beautiful stays, memorable meals, and thoughtful choices across all three islands.
This is 11 days for Cape Verde to stop feeling unfamiliar. By the time Carnival begins, you'll already feel part of it. By the end of the trip, you'll understand why we keep coming back.
You'll leave having experienced one of Africa's most extraordinary celebrations
in one of our favorite places to return to.

Do I need a visa?
Not before you enter the country as a citizen of the U.S., EU, or a few other regions. A stamp fee of ~$40 might be due a the airport. No stress, we’ll let you know exactly where you stand .
Do I need to know how to dance?
No choreography experience needed just come open to learning. We rehearse together, and everyone moves at their own pace. It’s about presence, not perfection.
Is this a party trip?
It’s a vibe , but not a free-for-all. Think energy, connection, movement, music. If you want chaos, this isn’t it. If you want real heat with real meaning? You’re in the right place.
Is it safe?
Yes. You’ll be with a small group, a local coordinator, and every move we make is thought through.
